The Chattanooga Film Festival doesn’t hold back! And why it should be? This year’s CFF has gathered a massive wave of films that will please every genre cinema fan! This year’s lineup boasts a whopping over 40 feature films, including 3 World Premieres, alongside over 80 mind-bending short films.
Chattanooga Film Festival: From cinephiles to cinephiles
The festival kicks off with a tribute to the late filmmaker Jeff Burr, a champion of genre cinema. Fans can catch a rare workprint of his film “LEATHERFACE” closer to his original vision. As for the screenings, CFF is proud to present “THE FIX,” a dystopian thriller starring Grace Van Dien and Clancy Brown, plus “SOMNIUM,” a mind-bending exploration of dreams, and “SLEEP, WAKE, FORGET,” a haunting story of survival by filmmaker Ariel Vida.
There’s something for everyone with films like the heartwarming “OFF-RAMP,” the chilling holiday horror “CARNAGE FOR CHRISTMAS,” and the deeply personal “THE LONELY MAN AND THE GHOST MACHINE” by CFF alum Graham Skipper.
Chattanooga Film Festival’s legendary short film blocks return! Expect favorites like “Salutes Your Shorts” and “WTF” alongside expanded editions of “Dangerous Visions” and “Fun Size Epics.” Plus, a World Premiere – “13TH NIGHT” by author Benjamin Percy – debuts in “Dangerous Visions.” Catch Percy for a post-screening signing and Q&A!
Beyond screenings, CFF offers a vibrant festival experience. Browse the “PHYSICAL MEDIA RODEO” for unique merchandise, catch live podcasts, attend educational events, or unwind at whiskey, pizza, or watch parties. With virtual options and extensive Q&As, CFF caters to film lovers everywhere.
Chattanooga Film Festival: The 2024 line-up
As in its tenth edition, the festival will be presented in a hybrid format, with both in-person and virtual programming. The festival’s in-person dates, June 21-24, will again be held at Chattanooga’s historic haunted hotel, The Read House.
