Presented by the Film Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania, this multi-day festival offers a packed schedule. - Saturday Morning Shrieks with Trick-or-Treat Half-Day Passes (10 AM – 2 PM): $15
Children 14 and under get in for free with a paid adult, up to two children per adult.
Special Screening: Killer Klowns From Outer Space
One of the highlights of this year’s fest is the screening of Killer Klowns From Outer Space. This 1988 cult classic, directed by the Chiodo Brothers, is known for its blend of horror and comedy. It features popcorn guns, cotton candy cocoons, and unforgettable special effects.
Before the screening, join the Creepy Klown Costume Contest! Dress in your best creepy clown outfit for a chance to win prize packs full of EHF gear and spooky treats from local vendors. One adult and one child will be selected as winners.

Literary Panel: Frightening Fiction – Becoming a Horror Author
Aspiring horror writers won’t want to miss the Frightening Fiction panel. This session features acclaimed authors Paul Jessup, Rebecca Cuthbert, Carolina “Nina” Cruz, and Pauline Chow. They will share inspiration, guidance, and storytelling techniques to help you craft your own tales of terror.
Horror in Gaming: Embracing New Media
Join Commodore Gaming Erie for an in-depth workshop on horror gaming. This session explores how interactive experiences heighten suspense and terror. Attendees will learn about gameplay mechanics, narrative techniques, and atmospheric design. Hands-on activities will let you experience the most unsettling aspects of horror games firsthand. Whether you’re a horror enthusiast, game developer, or curious about the genre, this workshop is a must.
Character Design Through Drawing and Sculpting
Learn how to create creature characters from sketches to sculpture in this workshop led by ‘Monster’ Mark Kosobucki, the EHF Art Director and special effects artist. He will cover the basics of character design, including drawing and sculpting techniques with various materials.
