The Macabre World of Indie Horror is back for December with a plethora of good old-fashioned murder and gore. If you’re like most horror fans, the thought of holiday shopping might make you want to grab an axe and go Jack Torrance on everyone at Walmart. People just go crazy, much like a movie I want to tell you about called Pancake Man. It’s about a man who goes on a killing spree after he is refused his favorite breakfast dish. I think we can all relate. This is a new film by Bron Theron and starring Mike Ferguson, Michael Della Pia, and Elissa Dowling. You can preview the trailer now.
Are you still hungry after that? We have an update on Mario Cerrito’s Human Hibachi 3: The Last Supper. The one and only King of Tromaville, Lloyd Kaufman will be stepping in front of the camera for this feast of flesh. Will Lloyd be eaten like a Thanksgiving turkey? We shall see.
Horror Gift Alert: Perfect Picks for Fans
Horror Gift Alert! You need something to go along with those socks you bought dad. How about the new Tahoe Joe blu-ray Collectors 2-Pack. It’s not Harry and the Hendersons but it’s a must for those Bigfoot enthusiasts out there. Here’s one that we warm your heart with Holiday cheer… or rip your heart out. The Beast of Walton Street is new on blu-ray from Scream Team Releasing. A Werewolf is roaming the Christmas decorated streets of an nameless Ohio town and picking off the most vulnerable, the homeless. It sounds good, but now I’m having visions of a werewolf stalking George Bailey throughout Bedford Falls.
Big News in Crowdfunding: CineBacker Projects
So, we have big news in crowdfunding land. CineBacker is a new filmmakers-for-filmmakers crowdfunding platform that has several intriguing projects in pre-launch. And then in Perfect Souls, Guided by mysterious entities who claim to be her true family, Nikki is shown the haunting secrets of not only the town she holds close to her heart, but also her parents and friends. Discovering that Perfect is a dark and twisted place, her faith is put to the test and sends her spiraling down a path of insanity, from which there may be no escape.
