A cult gathers in secret. Their leader, consumed by religious fervor, prepares a feast unlike any other. The main dish? Human flesh.
Filmmaker Mario Cerrito is back with Human Hibachi 3: The Last Supper, the final chapter in his controversial cannibal horror franchise. Filming has begun in South Jersey at a location kept under wraps. Fans of extreme horror can expect a shocking conclusion to a story that has already pushed boundaries in the indie horror scene.

The Human Hibachi series made its mark with the 2020 original, which followed a group of friends trapped in a twisted restaurant where diners feasted on human meat. In 2022, Human Hibachi 2: Feast in the Forest took the terror outdoors, introducing a cult-like gathering deep in the woods. Cerrito then released Human Hibachi: The Beginning (2023), a short film that offered a chilling glimpse into how it all started. Now, with the third and final installment, the story comes full circle.
I’m really proud of what this franchise has become, having the opportunity to make the third feature film and complete the trilogy is all an independent filmmaker can ask for. This one surely will push boundaries and wrap everything up perfectly.

A Cult, a Feast, and the Final Chapter
Cerrito, known for his unfiltered approach to horror, promises this film will be the most intense yet. “I’m really proud of what this franchise has become,” he says. “Completing the trilogy is a dream for an independent filmmaker. This one will push boundaries and wrap everything up perfectly.”

The film’s plot centers on a man suffering from hyper-religiosity. His cult of devoted followers gathers for a ritualistic last supper, where human sacrifices become the main course.
With each installment, the Human Hibachi series has built a reputation for raw, unrelenting horror. It has gained a cult following, sparking both fascination and controversy. This final chapter aims to cement its legacy.
There’s no official release date yet for Human Hibachi 3, but horror fans should prepare for a feast they won’t forget.
