Satanic Panic of 1983
The Baphomet Seance. originally banned in 1983 for his Satanic messages, is heading back into distribution over 40 years later. The film purported to be an instructional video depicting a variety of Satanic rituals which claimed to not only teach the participant how to conduct seances to talk to the dead, but this video claimed to teach teenagers how to open a gateway that would allow participants to actually talk with the devil himself.
“I was manager at the Eric Theater back in 1983 when The Baphomet Seance came out.  I remember opening night vividly because the entire audience walked out.  Some requested refunds, others just left. They were all saying they couldn’t handle it. It was too intense and dark. I never seen anything like it in my 20+ years as a theater manager.  That movie freaked a lot of people out.  I got a call the next day to just pull the movie.” – Frank, Somerdale, New Jersey

I want my MTV! Well, I don’t think MTV plays music videos anymore, but that didn’t stop musical artist, Abstract Rude from making a cool music video for the movie, Pancake Man. After Jerry is pushed to the point of no return he decides to take revenge on everyone who has done him wrong. His first kill ignites the fury of a Mob bosses son and sparks a robbery from the local gang. It is a day of carnage and redemption for the three parties. Jerry is called the Pancake Man by the press after he was denied pancakes in the beginning of the story. Breakfast will never be the same again.
